Wellness Specialist


Duties and Responsibilities: Wellness specialist work on facilities and school helping people with the control of their wellness. They also help people with their fitness and health goals. Also they may help their patients in the healthy work balance and prevention of diseases such as diabetes.

Salary: $77,000 per year

Education: Wellness Specialist often need or use a degree on something like fitness or sport medicine, and or nursing too. Sometimes some positions may require an accredited training on it. 

Demand for this career: The average out look is growing 37% since 2010-2020 

Reflection: Sound interesting but I may not like it. I prefer to do something else.

Health Career

Medical Scientist


Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Scientist make research on improve human health. They usually study and try methods to improve their findings. 


Salary: $82,240 per year. 


Education: Medical scientist usually have a Ph.D  on biology or related science about life. Not all of the Medical Scientist have necessary a Ph.D, also they could have a medical degree. Others prefer to practice and do research as physicians.


Demand for this career: It seems that it'll be growing 13% this following 10 years since 2012.



Reflection: It sound really interesting, perhaps I would like to be one because it involves chemistry and science.

This 10 Indian Commandments are not only for Indians, it is also for the good will of humankind. This 10 commandments can be compared to the 6 pillars of character. This rules (Commandments) are there for us to follow and make this a better world. Commandment NO.10 is a great example of what we should do all the time. Take full responsibilities for your actions, be responsible of what you do and think twice before doing something. We must get along with everybody for the good of your community and the honor of your family.  Something that we also have to keep respect to is to our lovely mother nature which is the one we always be part of as it says No.1n. Treat Earth with respect and love because we need it to live so therefore we shall take care of. Think about it the next time you buy something and you don’t find somewhere to put the trash on, better keep it to yourself and not to hurt our great mother.

Reflexologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Reflexologist apply reflexology on their patience pressure on the area of their feet, hands and ears. They use this to relieve stress and pain on that area of their body. Reflexologist may use items such as rubber balls, rubber bands and sticks of wood.

Salary: $39,760

Education: It is needed a degree on associate's degree. It is also needed a field degree in massage therapy and reflexology.


Demand for this career: Not founded Error 404


Reflection: I would not like to be one because it sounds boring and I have issues with other people's feet.

Registered Nurse (RN)


Duties Responsibilities: They provide coordinate patience care, they educate the public and their own patience about health conditions. Registered Nurse provide emotional help to their patience.

Salary: $67,490 per year

Education: To become a registered nurse you need to complete 3 educational paths. You'll need a bachelor's degree on nursing, associate's degree in nursing, or also a diploma form an approved nursing program. Nurses must be licensed.

Demand for this Career: It is growing 16% more faster than the average from 2014-2024


Reflection: I don't really feel to like this career, it sound kind of boring.

Radiologic Technologist 

Duties and responsibilities: Radiologist Technologist are in charge of taking x-rays exams in CT scans. Radiologic Technologist work along with radiologist. The work done is passed to physicians or surgeons to look over. Radiologic Technologists are not prepared or trained to diagnose to the patience. 

Salary: $55,910 per year

Education: Study associate of science in radiology, technical college training. 

Demand for this particular career: It is growing a 28% since 2010 to 2020





Reflection: It sounds really interesting. I would like to be one perhaps, specially because I always wanted to know how to do that without getting cancer.

Psychologist

Duties and responsibilities: Psychologist are professionals trained to help the well-being of all people such as families, individuals, groups, etc. They study, test and treat with emotional and psychological challenges.

Salary: $69,280

Education: To become a Psychologist it is necessary 4-6 years of study to get the Doctoral Degree. Psychologist students must participate in research and teaching for one full year to demonstrate that they are capable of receiving the license. They must study in areas such as ethics, statics, individual differences and the biological, etc.

Demand for this profession: 20% of growth for the next 10 years.


Reflection: Yes I would like to be one. It sounds really interesting than other careers. I always wanted to help people giving advice.

Duties and Responsibilities: Nursing Home Administrator is a health area specialized in managing the health in certain facilities. Some duties of a Nursing Home Administrator is to take an oversee on the people such as the staff and personal, they also take care of the finances and the health in the facility. Nursing Home Administrator don’t necessary has to be an administrator of a house.

Salary: $65,000-$90,000 per year.

Education: For Nursing Home administrator is needed a 4 years bachelor’s degree. In advanced positions in Nursing Home Administrator is needed a Master’s degree. Sometimes the requirements may vary in the state or city. The 4 years bachelor’s degree has to be on the area of health and public administration. 


Reflection: It sounds interesting, but actually it is kind of boring. I would like a job that doesn’t have to be so serious.

Well, thanks to LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) I know now how to prepare my self for the future when I'll get out of High School. Not only because of this services I will get an stable job as it mention on "Graduation Requirements" that used to happen 30 years ago on the 1980s. But that means that I have to work hard to get a C or better as is established to get to graduation. Knowing about bullying is another important stuff when is about getting into school. Bullying is something that must not exist and sure shall be end for the security and safety of everyone. I remember that I used to be bullied once when I was on school, sure that now many students read and learn about bullying in one of the LAUSD student services. I always wondered about college and university when I was little. It always seem to be hard to access into one. Thanks again to LAUSD student services I may have a change to access to one because choosing which school and what to become is always important.

Duties and responsibilities: A Neonatologist is a doctor specialized on baby’s health care. Not such as a pediatrician. Neonatologist is a doctor that takes charge or a baby’s or kid’s high health problems, such as a baby that born premature, has a serious illness, injury or any other birth problem.

Salary: $230,181 between $194,149-$277,437

Education:  To become a neonatologist is need 4 years in medical school, three years of residency training in general pediatrics, three more years in newborn intensive care. They also need a certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and by the Sub-beard of Neonatal- Perinatal Medicine. 



Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be one because it seems hard and though job to do. I would not dare myself to do something to a baby.

Orthodontist

Duties and responsibilities: Orthodontist is a specialist diagnosing, prevention and treatment in dental and also facial care such as searching any irregularity in those areas. It can be mainly confused with a Dentist.

Salary: $206,190.

Education: They have to complete college requirements before starting a dental graduated program of 3 to 5 years by the American Dental Association. After dental school they need at least 2 or 3 years of academic advanced specialty education in an ADA accredited orthodontic program.


Reflection: I would not really like to be one, it sounds very complex and I’m scared of hurting someone.

Duties and Responsibilities: Health Educators are people who are specialized in teaching people about wellness, or the domain of the 6 elements of life. They always show new ideas to develop and improve; also promote wellness in people in individual communities.

Salary: $41,830 per year.

Education: To become a Health Educator you need a bachelor’s degree. Many of them also may need a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Credential.



Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?-Sure I would like to take it as a second career but I don’t really know how to express my ideas.

Education ever is gonna be holding hands with the obedience. Because one thing of being educated is also being obedient. Because you have to do do what you have to do. one example is being an spoiled child and that's the cause one cause of disobedience. And what happens when you are disobedient? You are not educated!. For more than you wish, if you are not obedient you are not educated.
